When a film or series appears in a mobile application without apparent permission, clear documentation helps explain what was observed. A useful evidence file identifies the application, the affected work and the steps leading to the content.
Record the Application Details
Save the application’s store link, displayed name and developer or publisher name. Record the date, device and app version where available.
Similar names or icons do not necessarily identify the same application, so preserve the exact listing link.
Document the Viewing Process
Using a device and account you are authorized to use, record the steps from opening the application to selecting the film or episode and reaching playback.
Do not bypass access controls or use someone else’s account to collect evidence.
Distinguish a Listing from Playback
A title appearing in a catalogue does not establish that the content can be played.
Record whether you observed a catalogue entry, a trailer, an external link or actual playback. If playback fails, note that limitation.
Identify the work and episode as accurately as possible without making assumptions.
Preserve Original Evidence
Keep original screenshots and recordings unchanged. Use separate copies for annotations or redactions.
Give each file a clear name and record its capture date. If you check again later, save the new observation separately.
Protect Unrelated Information
Check recordings for notifications, account details and personal information unrelated to the matter. Avoid sharing unnecessary personal data in complaints or public posts.
Connect the Evidence to Your Rights
Before submitting a complaint, confirm that the observed use falls within the works, territories, dates and rights you own or are authorized to represent.
The presence of content in an application alone does not establish infringement.
Request a Review
DiziCare reviews suspected unauthorized distribution within documented rights or valid authorization.
Email [email protected] with the affected titles, your rights summary and the application link. We will advise which supporting information is needed.
